Smartix migration to Ubuntu operating system

Until recently, our specialists relied on working with Red Hat operating systems — Red Hat and CentOS solution on the server, Fedora on self-service devices.

Red Hat is owned by the American company of the same name. Due to global conditions changing and US export restrictions, currently there are risks to continue use of Red Hat solutions.

As a result, our specialists carried out migration of Smartix software to Ubuntu operating systems family. This OS is based on Debian, completely open Linux OS that is being developed by the community. Smartix software image for self-service devices is now available on Ubuntu.

We continuously monitor the situation on the IT solutions market, adapt Smartix software to provide high-quality and affordable software for our existing and potential customers.
